Teeter Dex II Inversion Machine
The Teeter DEX II decompression & extension machine is a forward-rotating, user-controlled inversion machine. The Dex II provides an inversion platform on which the users body bends 90° at the knees and 90° at the waist. The 90/90 position is the optimum position for decompression of the spine, as well as maximizes muscle performance during back extensions. The 90/90 position helps to flatten the lumbar curve for greater separation of lower vertebrae.
Traction is applied to the hip joints and spine, with no loads to the ankles and knee joints.
Improving upon the traditional roman chair, this unique design actually reduces the load on the hamstrings and helps to prevent hyperextension by placing the knees in the relaxed 90° position, rather than forcing less-effective, straight-legged exercises. The unique traction handles offer a method for increased decompression. The Dex II allows users to rotate forward in a bent knee / bent hip position, which decompresses the hip joint and spinal column and provides a comfortable platform for stretching and exercise.
