lymph drainage

An Inversion Table can help your Lymph System

An Inversion Table can help your Lymph System

Inverting yourself to even as little as 25 degrees for a few minutes can help relax tense muscles and speed the flow of lymphatic fluids which flush out the body’s wastes and carry them to the blood stream.

The Lymph System

Your lymphatic system has three interrelated functions. It is responsible for the removal of interstitial fluid, which delivers nutrients to your cells and removes of metabolic waste from them. It absorbs and transports fatty acids and fats to the circulatory system. The last function of the lymphatic system is the production of immune cells, such as monocytes and lymphocytes, including antibody producing plasma cells.

The lymphatic system relies on muscle contractions (or manual massage) to move lymphatic fluid through capillaries and one-way valves to the upper body for cleansing. Using an Inversion Table and inverting the body to as llittle as 25 degrees means that gravity works with, not against, these one-way valves and helps to bring the lactic fluid up the body resulting in a more efficient flow.

Sluggish Lymph System?

If your lymph system is sluggish, then fluids and toxins can build up in the connective tissue and eventually cause health problems. Cellular oxygenation and nourishment is reduced, as is waste elimination. Toxins eventually penetrate the cells and create the symptoms of chronic disease. So increasing lymph drainage can enhance recovery rates, by moving out toxins and wastes, boosting immunity and oxygenation, and reducing inflammation.

The Lymph System and Cellulite

The Lymph System and Cellulite

In her book Beyond Cellulite*1, Nicole Ronsard discusses the role of the lymph system in creating cellulite, and ways in which people can help stimulate lymph flow to reduce cellulite. She explains that when the flow of lymph is slowed down, a stagnation of fluid occurs in the tissues. In areas where circulation tends to be poor and relies almost entirely on gravity to move it back up, as in the hip and thigh area, this stagnation encourages the formation of cellulite. By reversing gravity’s force on the flow of blood and lymph fluids in the body, you can increase the nourishment of cells and accelerate the removal of wastes.

“My wife suffered from severe sciatica for four months… Finally I purchased your inversion table. In less than one week she was sleeping again and the pain had diminished considerably. Purchasing your inversion table was the best thing we ever did.”
- J. Luper

I have lower back pain and sciatica. The honest truth is before I ever inverted… I would have to crawl out of the bed in the morning. The pain was so bad. As long as I invert, there is no signs of pain-
