Inversion to an angle of 60 degrees will help you achieve that dream.
Sciatica
The sciatic nerve consists of nerve roots that come from the bottom of the spinal cord in the the lower back. Pressure on these nerves can cause symptoms ranging from minor backache to most extreme pain and loss of feeling that can extend down the leg. This is referred to as sciatica.
The common causes of sciatica include general 'wear and tear' on the body, a Prolapsed disc, narrowing of the spinal column (Spinal stenosis) or general de-generation of the discs to the stage where they are unable to support the vertebrae.
These bio-mechanical problems benefit from a mechanical solution. Gently decompressing the spine will increase the distance between vertebrae allowing the shock absorbing discs to return to a healthier state and function.
Harmful compression of the body can be slowed or reversed by use of an Inversion table that offers a method of stretching and exercise otherwise impossible.
If your back pain comes from pressure on the nerves it will be of interest to know that studies (*2) have shown that no other position is as effective for reducing the pressure on your discs. Even laying down, the pressure inside the discs is around 25% of your body weight. This produced by the other ligaments in the spinal column acting like rubber bands and compressing the spine even when gravity has stopped. The study concluded that around 60% of your body weight is required to relieve that pressure.

The Latest Medical Research
A recent preliminary study*1 at Newcastle Hospital suggest that patients who use an inversion table are 70.5% less likely to need surgery as compared to an equivalent control group. Click here here for more medical research.

I have lower back pain and sciatica. The honest truth is before I ever inverted… I would have to crawl out of the bed in the morning. The pain was so bad. As long as I invert, there is no signs of pain-
